You can now order your Name and Date of Birth based criminal background checks from anywhere! Simply
- Fill out the online form

- Receive your police check results in your email inbox
Many organizations require a hard copy due to the difficulties in verifying emailed documents. Official sealed hard copies can be ordered and mailed to you for an additional fee.
Here is what you should know before you get started:
- Online background checks offered by accredited private fingerprinting agencies cannot be processed for the vulnerable sector (ie. working with children or elderly). This MUST be initiated by your local police service.
- If you do not have a credit history in Canada, you may have to order an extra form to have your identity verified at a Canada Post office.
Background checks based on name and date of birth are not necessarily conclusive. For a more thorough criminal background check, you may wish to utilize our fingerprinting services. - For those that cannot use an online CPIC check, we still offer this service in-person at our RCMP accredited locations.
