Statutory Declaration

Trust In Every Oath

What is a statutory declaration?

A statutory declaration is a written summary of facts which the declarant solemnly states to be true. There are many reasons you may need to provide a declaration or affidavit as evidence. For instance, you may need one to get married in another country, or to add your spouse to your pension or benefits package.

Most statutory declarations appear in standard forms, especially government forms. However, there are some occasions when you need to prepare the declaration.

When there is no standard form available, you may be able to use our free templates.

*If you prefer Red Seal Notary to prepare for you a Marital status or Common law declaration please fill out the form.
